A Mashed Potato, Makeover Story

 
 A different twist to the regular mashed potato, easy recipe, few short steps and its ready to eat with bread or rice pancake. You also get creative and add peas, grated carrots to it... a punch of color.

 

 

Ingredients & Method

 
 

Ingredients:

  • Potato - 2 counts
  • Mustard seeds - 1tsp
  • Coriander leaves - handful
  • Ginger grated -  ½ tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Green chili - 1 count
  • Onion -  ½  cut
  • green peas - handful

 

Method:

  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds  and onion and fry  untill onion is transparent.
  • Now add peas, green chili and fry for 5  mints.
  • Now in a bowl add cut potatoes , water and microwave for 5 mints.
  • Now add the tender potato to the pan..
  • Mix everything together and cook for 5 more mints.
  • Enjoy!!! That’s it.
 

 

Servings:

Enough for 4  people. Adjust as needed.
